Lake Station Pet Clinic
Lake Station Pet Clinic is our (big) sister clinic. Five veterinarians share ownership of both practices - Dr. Stephen Heckler, Dr. Philip Cooper, Dr. Jessica Clements, Dr. Amy Zwingelberg and Dr. Jeffrey Weitzel. While Drs. Heckler and Clements practice at Lake Station Pet Clinic full time, Dr. Weitzel practices at Porter County Pet Clinic full-time. Dr. Cooper sees patients at both clinics, working at Porter County Pet Clinic 1-2 days a week allowing Dr. Weitzel a day or two off to spend with his family and friends. Due to our limited space here, boarding is available at our sister clinic only 20 minutes away.

Remind Your Pet Emails
Do you have trouble remembering to give your pet his or her Heartworm or flea medication? Maybe you want to schedule a monthly grooming appointment or refill your pet's pain, thyroid, or behavioral medication. This website provides free emails for anything you want. You can even customize and write your own reminder if the reminder you desire is not listed in the drop down menu. How the reminder service works -
Simply register basic information about you and your pet (it takes about a minute), and we’ll automatically send you an email or text message whenever it’s time to give your pet’s medication. We’ll even alert you when your supply is about to run out.
Once you register, you’ll receive a welcome email. Be sure to add this site to your address book to ensure delivery of the emails to your inbox. Just click on the link in that email to sign up your pet. You can also create a username and password at that time to access your profile directly from RemindMyPet.com.
